This fine three-legged platform deck,
our marriage, serves as vantage point
which we stand on to admire
each other and the view below:
companions' envy and their waves.
We decorate our wedding deck
forever save the days when one
of our staunch platform's tripod legs -
i.e. Loving, Longing, Liking -
succumbs to storm and teeters us
into stiff armed irritation.
